We’re a mom, dad, and a little girl transplanted from San Francisco, California to the Chilean Patagonia.

We moved way down south in January, 2010 to have a better work/life balance, and after spending a year and a half living in different cities within Chile and Argentina have decided to put down some roots in the Chilean Patagonia. 

We’re blogging about all of the aspects of resettling into a new country and culture, purchasing property, working, eating, and raising a little girl. Every so often we’ll include blogs on other topics of interest to friends and family, on subjects related to personal finance, investing, or coffee.

Our intent is to share our story and the lessons we’re learning living as expats to inform, entertain, and inspire others who are in a similar situation or who also dream of settling into a new country.
